Morning Drop Off

This past week, Superintendent Dr. Marnie Hazelton welcomed families at Morning Drop Offs across all our schools, including McCloud, JDMS, DMHS, Grieco, and Quarles Early Childhood Center. These events created a warm and engaging atmosphere, highlighting the importance of parent involvement at every grade level.

Parent engagement is essential, from our youngest learners to our high school students. As students grow, the challenges they face evolve, and having parents actively involved plays a key role in their success. At the secondary level, especially, as students navigate more complex academic and social landscapes, strong family connections are more impactful than ever.

With smiles, handshakes, and conversations, these drop-offs highlighted the district’s commitment to building strong relationships with parents and setting a positive tone for our students' success. Dr. Hazelton’s presence underscored how vital parent engagement is in supporting our students throughout their educational journey.

Together, we’re setting a positive tone and paving the way for a successful school year! πŸ“šβœ¨ #EnglewoodStrong #ParentEngagement #EPSD
